I would ride a bicycle at night sometimes, down to Brighton Beach from my apartment in Mapleton. Stirred by some insidious youthful vitality. Reminiscent of my youth, I would ride fervently to the shores of the relatively minute Lake Michigan, to the north of Chicago. I eloped to Brighton, moderately lit with glassy colored glow. I remember reading somewhere that most laugh tracks were recorded in the 50’s and most of the people laughing in them are dead. which totally makes sense because no living person would laugh at the big bang theory.
