I would ride a bicycle at night sometimes, down to Brighton Beach from my apartment in Mapleton. Stirred by some insidious youthful vitality. Reminiscent of my youth, I would ride fervently to the shores of the relatively minute Lake Michigan, to the north of Chicago. I eloped to Brighton, moderately lit with glassy colored glow.
